Quota Collect

Quench in our hearts, O Lord, all fires of selfishness,
Unfold to us the joys of true friendship,
Open our minds to a better understanding of service,
Teach us the real meaning of sharing,
And help us to hold high those principles of Quota for which we stand

Region 2 Conference

April 29th, 30th and May 1st was our Region 2 conference.

It was great to get together with our other 10 clubs!  This is the one time a year we get together as one.  We get down to business, have fun, celebrate, share ideas and just laugh and enjoy each others fellowship!

Friday Fun Night.  We got the spa treatment from Ladies & Gentleman's Salon.  There were a few vendors set up and later we did some Zumba

Each of us was to bring a dessert for Fun Night!  Our Cub Member, Geri Guelich's was voted #1.  I think she should start to bring this to our meetings!

One guest speaker was Katie Krammer. She spoke about not judging, we all have "disabilities"  Katie was a former member of our Lake County club.  She has a son Trey.  He has autism.

On Saturday evening, we were privileged to meet Miss Ohio.  She sang for us.

Sunday, Local Sub Zero Mission founder Al Radatz and assistant Shane Hajjar came to talk about their mission.  They go in search of the homeless and provide them coats, hats, gloves and sleeping bags.

Orrville Club member Beth demonstrates the special made coat/sleeping bags deigned for the homeless.

We voted on our next Regional Director Brenda Cherry.  She is from our Wooster Club.
Below is our outgoing Director Kay Hatala, from our Lake County club
