Quota Collect
Quench in our hearts, O Lord, all fires of selfishness,
Unfold to us the joys of true friendship,
Open our minds to a better understanding of service,
Teach us the real meaning of sharing,
And help us to hold high those principles of Quota for which we stand

Central Area Meeting
Oct 11-13 was Quota's Central Area Meeting
It was held in Kenosha, Wisconsin. What a beautiful town. It is about 30 miles north of Chicago and 30 miles south of Milwaukee. It is on Lake Michigan. It is home to The Jelly Belly Co., Johnson Family Products Co, and even Snap on.
We went to an Eco farm in Racine, Wi that is run by nuns and is a farm that recycles, uses solar power and wind power. They provide classes to kids and offer a retreat house. This is a one room house to get away for a day, two, weekend or week. There are many animals on the farm including alpacas.
President Karen makes friends with "Grant"
We were honored to have as a guest speaker Julia Witherspoon. She is the founder of the Cops n Kids Reading Program. She has even been on The Oprah show. Amy from the Orrville club was excited to meet her. They have been in touch with her prior to this. The Orville club has a very successful Cops n Kids program.!
The Lake County club was honored with an award for the Give Me 5 program. We did not get 5 but did get 4. 4 new members in the last year!
We had a wonderful time. Met up with old friends and made new ones. This was our LAST area meeting. Quota is making several changes to how things will run and this is one thing we will no longer do.
We have an exciting year ahead of us, lots of changes to help run smoother and make life easier for all of us!

TIME FOR A CHANGE...
Well, the time has come for us to say good-bye, and to say all new HELLO"S!
We will no longer be holding our meetings at Dino's on RT 306 in Willoughby. They have changed their focus and we do not fit in their plans. So after many, many years of holding our meetings there, we must say Good-bye!
